Cadres of District Naam Tamilar Party demonstrated protest in front of the Railway Station condemning the State and Central governments for imposing NEET on students which has now claimed the life of Medical Aspirant, Anitha from Arilayur.
Abdul Wahaab, District President of the party led the protest. The protestors vehemently alleged the state and central governments are continuously forcing anti-people proposals and laws as they are not bothered in securing the interests and welfare of the citizens. The situation is even worse in Tamil Nadu, as BJP is targeting to seize the rights of the people, and establish their governance through state government, they alleged.

"There are hundreds of Anitha in this state whose higher education dreams are shattered. Hence, as proposed by our Party leader Seeman , we will fight strong until NEET is withdrawn from the state of Tamil Nadu" said, Vijaya Raghavan one of the party cadre.
Condemning NEET and seeking justice for Anitha, Naam Tamilar Party leader Seeman staged a demonstration in Valluvar Kottam, Chennai which was supported by hundreds of their party members and public.
"Anitha not only dreamt but also put her 100% to get 1176 marks in her higher secondary examination. Knowing that her childhood dream to become a doctor has been buried in the name of NEET, a disappointed Anitha took the extreme step which is heart-wrenching", said Seeman.
Close to 43 protestors were arrested in Coimbatore as they tried to intensify their protests by entering the railway station.
